Communication
To ensure the best possible service, please do not leave notes or give any special instruction or service changes to our crews. All information regarding your cleaning service must be communicated directly to the office so that the information is not lost or misunderstood.

Expectations of Services
Routine cleanings are between 1-3 hours long, depending on the needs of your home. You will be given an approximated time for your cleaning if needed. However, many things can affect our schedule, such as cancellations, lockouts, clients adding services, road conditions and inclement weather(we do not work during hurricanes). If we will be longer than 30 minutes of your appointment time you can expect a text with an estimated time of arrival.
Sweeping Hands completes all services described in the “routine cleaning list”, additional services must be requested in advance so that we can schedule additional time and supplies as needed.

We provide our own products, except as agreed upon according to your preference. We do ask each client to have their own vacuum and a two-step ladder. Please note our crew members are very important to us, and we are very serious about keeping them safe. Therefore, we do not move anything weighing more than 20lbs or clean at heights unreachable with a two-step ladder. If you need items such as beds, refrigerators, etc cleaned behind please move prior to your cleaning.

All homes must have adequate utilities to perform necessary cleanings.
All pets should be gated/crated. While you may know the temperament of your pet we can not be responsible for their safety as we load/unload equipment/supplies.
Please note that we do not clean litter boxes or clean up animal waste.

Rates
We offer one-time, weekly, biweekly and monthly cleaning rates. All scheduled services outside of these frequencies are priced hourly.

Employee Solicitation
When entering in an agreement for services with Sweeping Hands, you agree not to solicit for hire any crew member introduced to you by Sweeping Hands for any home related services. If you are found to have solicited one of our crew members and the position is accepted, please be advised that our referral/training fee is $2500 payable to Sweeping Hands immediately upon employing our crew members for any services to your home. The crew member will be terminated immediately.

Cancelations
Sweeping Hands understands that sometimes “things” happen. If a cleaning needs to be cancelled please give a 24 hour notice when possible.
There is a $25 lock out fee if we arrive on your cleaning day and are not able to service your home due to being locked out or failure to be informed of the cancellation.

Payments
For your convenience, Sweeping Hands accepts checks, money orders, payments through PayPal and Chase Quick Pay and all major credit cards. For security reasons we do not accept cash left out at residences. We ask that you secure all payments in an envelope labeled SHCS and leave on the kitchen counter.

Refunds
Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with our service. Please see our “quality control” section if you are dissatisfied with your cleaning.
Quality Control

Sweeping Hands wants to be sure that you are consistently satisfied with our service, but we are human and an oversight may occur. Please notify us within 24 hours of your cleaning if you are displeased with the quality of service so that we may return to correct the situation in a timely manner. In addition, any suggestions or feedback that you have to help us improve the quality of service are greatly appreciated.

Breakage/Damage
We are insured and we take great care when cleaning your home, however, accidents can happen. Items of extreme value (monetary/sentimental) should be dusted or cleaned by the client. Please note that antiques, irreplaceable, and one of a kind items are not covered by our breakage and loss policy. We also cannot be responsible for breakage of items which are unstable or in an unstable environment.

Digital Media
Occasionally we like to take before and after pictures of our work. Interior pictures will be for our reference only and will not be publicized with any of your identifying information. We do respect your right to privacy.

  • Wipe off washer/ dryer
  • Dust furniture
  • Polish all stainless steel
  • Clean switch plates
  • Dust/clean ceiling fans and light fixtures
  • Sanitize bathrooms
  • Collect/dispose of trash
  • Dust/clean handrails and stairs
  • Vacuum carpet / large area rugs
  • Remove cob webs from corners
  • Spot clean doors
  • Clean all accessible baseboards
  • Clean large a/c grill when in reach

In addition, the following services can be performed for an additional rate:

  • Interior refrigerator
  • Oven
  • Decluttering services
